Well, Vader is completed, just doing assembly images and all the clean up work, test slicing etc. So all on track for that I would say tomorrow,

Some of you may have seen the pic I posted on the facebook page for the technicolor elephant. It is a very easy print but just a long one, and something you can do over time if you want to use up those scraps of filament.

Storm Trooper Butt Pack update

As Matt pointed out (thank you) that the tube section for the buttpack of the storm trooper was missing from the pack! totally my bad...

Uploads on the way

 Well, it turns out if I walk about 10 minutes North on our property, I get a reasonable cell phone coverage..

I live on 56 acres, and it's very hilly, so down where we live near the river gets very little reception, nowhere near enough to tether but in a fit of desperation I took a walk around and tried to get anything and eventually managed to get a few bars of 3G.

I have been told the technician will be here on the 12th of...

Sorry guys! I really am, but this ones out of my control.

They are telling me now 1-3 days for the technician to come out to the main telecoms box and check out the line fault.

We live pretty remote so getting things done out here takes a while. 

I have tried PC's, laptops, spare routers, ipads, iphones, raspberry pi's.. you name it.. not one device will upload a thing - they all are at 0mbps upload, so I know it's not an issue...

Still plugging away

No reason for any delays other than compiling a very big chunk of models for this week and some very slow upload speeds.. but while im waiting for that I'll just keep making more things too upload... :)

Very long story short, the above is one of the new helmets, it actually was a job for a customer (one scam artist called Cody Denver)

Job was simple , turn the 3D scan on the left into a pretty printable helmet...

Ok.. now it's done...

I was going over some reference photos of the Executioner helmet and really, I had gotten so much wrong it would have been silly to even have anyone print it because the mouth section was completely off. I had the wrong number of spines, the hexagonal was inverted.. argh.. so yeah I had to go back to square one and redo all the mouth section completely.

I am just triple checking all the emails correspond from Patreon to the email groups, we had alot of new members sign up this last month and I just want to make sure everyone gets the emails.

When I press send, I will post an update here so until you see that , it's won't appear in your email. It's not an automated thing, I have to do it manually and normally I'd be on top of it but admittedly was swamped under a bit.

Hi Everyone!

Ok, im actually back on board now...  honestly, the last week has been just so incredibly busy I'm sort of glad it's over.   Christmas, New years, my wifes birthday tomorrow.... it's just been crazy. 

Whats with all the Koalas? Well as you know I do this full time and besides design, the printers need to keep printing for me to be able to make enough income to keep it all ...

If you read the last update, you might have seen me mention my daughter got whooping cough even after being immunized against it. The good news, she's getting much better.. the bad news is we ALL had to go on antibiotics so we don't spread it as it can incubate and not affect you but you can still pass it onto others (merry christmas hey.... /smh)

Long story short, those antibiotics are just evil and i've had just about every side affect ...

PrintWeek Issue # 7 commencing..

There was going to be a couple of hiccups for sure on the first one, but now that it's sorted I can speed things up somewhat now.

Total oversight on my part. When you sign up for Patreon there is a "No Reward option, and regardless of what you donate, it puts your email way down the list at the bottom below the $1 subscription list.

So, I am just adding the correct people back to the correct groups, the 9 people in the picture below will have received a Level 1 access email, they should have had different ones.
