The name Chatterton comes from Welsh, Chadderton, for Hill/Fort. Recorded back to 1403. His family held the position of Sexton at St Mary Redcliffe Church in Bristol for 150 years continuously. Sexton's lived on the Church grounds and conducted various repairs to the buildings. Many of Chatterton's ancestors were freemasons. His uncle, William, was the last to hold the position of Sexton, John Chatterton, in 1725.

Thomas Percy
Thomas Percy was the son of a grocery, born in Bridgnorth, in Shropshire, in 1729. He prospered at the free school, and won a scholarship to attend Oxford, where he took his masters, and studied Latin, Greek, and Hebrew, and prepared himself for a career as a clergyman. His father was not unlike Shakespeare's. He was a successful enough businessman to rise to civic prominence, and served as town's bailiff. Later in life, h...

Greetings, welcome back. Here is a new episode, of a new chapter, or era of this show. It's been a long time, but if you've been following me sporadically on twitter, you know I've been still working over the past couple of years a lot of in depth research on forgery. It's taken us a while to get back together, but Ed and I are initiating version 2.0 of pseudcast, with an introduction to a new series, a five part episode covering five great li...

Due to Patreon length restrictions this episode is split into two parts. This is the second.
A dark psychedelic odyssey tracking the career of a group of Lockheed C-130 transport planes from Burma & Laos; to Liberia & Libya; to Mena, Arkansas. This is a weirdly sentimental episode, touching on seemingly every topic we've previously discussed: surplus tanker scandals, Julius Holmes, Iran-Contra, Air Ameri...

Well, I think I did a good job on this one, got a good clean edit, got the sidechain compression down. Not doing so badly at this tbh. :)
Anyway, in this episode we discuss relatively comprehensively, John Dee's beliefs, his ideological-imperial project, his scrying, his humanism and cosmopolitanism, and his secret operations for the court of Elizabeth I in Eastern Europe. Hopefully you all enjoy

Here it is. The first part of our ten part series on the Voynich Manuscript. This episode provides a general introduction to the entire series. We recorded the entire string of parts prior to recording this section, so this segment provides a high level overview of the structure of what's to come, while framing the entire episode and its major themes in context of current discussion involving the situation between the United States and the Ukr...

An extremely special episode of Pseudcast. This episode is convergence. It features a very detailed discussion of the new book: Coup in Dallas: The Decisive Investigation into Who Killed JFK by H. P. Albarelli. Edman read that book cover to cover to bring us all up to date on the latest research. Tune in to hear is review. This episode is the Frank Ca...

Very spooky new episode for Scaryween here. While we put together the treasure hunting adventure story of Japanese wartime plunder and the secret M-Fund for the next big episode, here's a mini-episode for the holiday. Me and Ed discuss Rosicrucianism, counter-insurgency, spiritual warfare, John Dee, the Knights of Malta, Secret Societies, and the sociology of the occult.

Me and Ed have been working out an update of how things are structured on here.
I had initially thought one episode a month was doable, but as we’ve done these research and scope has ballooned beyond what I had originally imagined. The next episode is going to switch to a weekly schedule. We’ll be recording these all in advance as a single saga, and releasing the parts one by one, each week.
We’ve been working each episode t...

Finally, it's here. This is going to likely be uploaded in four parts, due to size and length limitations on Patreon.
The full episode has come out at around 15 hours.
Here's an interim bibliography as well. I'll post more about this episode in a bit, but I've been struggling with getting the file size within limits for hours, and I just want to get going.

We've wanted to start bringing you some additional content and so here's the first guest episode. For these once a month we'll be just recording a conversation with one of our friends who've been discussing our research topics with. This one features Thomas Murphy and we talk philosophy of math, science, and economics.
I had originally intended for this month's big episode to cover the world trade center movement, but the documents we we...

Edman and I are back with a new episode that I'm particularly pleased with. This is a far-reaching episode where we try to untangle the history of World Commerce Corporation, a Post-War company in which William Stephenson, William Donovan, Nelson Rockefeller, and Edward Stettinius Jr., among others, were all involved. WCC is discussed briefly in a number of books about Donovan and the OSS and the early years of the CIA, but no one has previous...
