As far as why does Michael make you care when you shouldnβt? I personally think Michael works so well almost 100% because of Steve Carrel. I literally donβt think this show works with anybody else playing Michael. Heβs just incredible. I also like to think about the show like it was real and I often think Michael is showing out so often because he knows heβs being filmed and plays up to the camera. I like to think when the documentary crew isnβt there he acts a lot different. (most of the time at least, Iβm sure heβs still cringe even when the crew isnβt there, π)
