The story behind it is even more heartbreaking than the lyrics itself. I am a sucker for heartbreaking songs/stories hjhjsk. almost done with this drawing, this track played- and made me realize that the lyrics suits to Tamaki and Hatori. So I opened Ae and started to play around with music tracking effects, this looks so simple but only after looking trough tons of tutorials, I made it. 💪😆
The song is based on a story called La Citta de Smeraldo. Its about a man who locked himself away in a castle cause he thought himself as to ugly. A woman came by his castle and he got mad at first then curious. He found out she sold flowers for a living. He soon fell in love but be couldn't show himself cause he was "to ugly" thus the lyrics "you know I can't show you me, give you me". He decided to plant a flower in his garden that she could sell at an expensive price. But the woman stopped coming. He found out she had died. The part "I still want you" is of him regretting of not telling her and showing his love to her. - Sawyer Watson on YT
