[WIPs] Sonic OC Re-Design Ref

I can't describe in words how happy I am that I can work on my other OCs again! So excited!! Before drawing my Bleach OC I wanted to re-design my old Sonic OC! This is Lightning the Hedgehog, originally created her in 2013! With the new movies and the Sonic Frontiers coming this holyday my hype for the Sonic fandom came back and I've even been updating her Backstory and Info on from time to time to correct my horrible english from make her unique and true to canon as possible. Everything about her you can find in there!

Since now all female Sonic characters wear clothes and Lightnings old design had no pants I was about to re-design Lightning and make a male OC but then I read Iizuka stated that only male hedgehogs can go super with Chaos Emeralds. Isn't this racist and sexist at the same time? So I hammered bare hand on the table and said NO - I will let Lightning female and show u what cool abilities I can come up with her ksksks

I love and missed drawing Sonic characters so freaking much. Their focus is primarly on their expressions, big hands and dynamic poses. Things I am obsessed with. So glad I am able to experience this hype all over again after years!

Lightnings arrogant and aggressive expressions is what I missed to draw the most since I couldn't do that with Hatori that would have been out of character for her. Lightning is her complete opposite!

But for now I let this be a work in process and focus on the second part of the mha comic, more to come!
