I was thinking that Sev is just trying to get back at Jonny once he found out him and Garrett were dating since he didnโt talk to his dad about the money. But Surge being behind this does make sense. Could be easily seen by Jonny as Mary-Anne getting back at him for not talking to his dad. Nobody would think Surge is behind it.
