Added 2024-03-01 06:21:47 +0000 UTCSo, I'd hoped to get the full outline completed tonight, for our summary of benefits, and for an intro to this project that's been requested by our patrons, but I think our game plan for the our next rewards and our last batch is probably best left to fresh eyes tomorrow.
Instead, What I would love to show off is this! One of the most consistent asks and requests from you guys has been some small ways to be more involved or to get directly in on the action, and so I've been building my first attempt at a character creator engine for a side project themed around ff7.
So far I've got skin tones, hair styles, colors, body hair programmed in, and assets for more specific traits like the fun bits, accessories, and perhaps even a CG of a certain rude fellow from Shinra servicing your character are already in the files and just need implementation.
Honestly I kind of had to learn this from the ground up, so it might take a second for us to ramp this sort of thing up to full shenanigans for us, but I'm extremely excited!
This has been a major push I can't wait to get back at it through the weekend! but until then, here's a Mega folder just for you guys if you want to give the character creation a try for android, mac and windows!
