Mualani/Sharky progress and struggles

One reason I didn't do the usual sketch, line, base color, etc. progress shots is because I think people will already have seen a lot of these, but the main reason is I jump between those steps when I get bored/art blocked doing just one step at a time π

People would have different interpretations of the pets so writing about how I approach it creatively probably makes the most sense! So glad you like it! π
