Patreon Monthly Journal - November 2021

Heyo! How are you all doing? I surely hope everything is okay and that you are all safe. November is over. Done. Kaputt. Gone. Adiós. And I just wanna sit and have a chat with you, to catch up and tell you some news. ☕

So, first things go first: Perhaps you have already noticed by now, but if you haven't let me tell you: the pledge for December has been paused. Yep, you read it right. The charge for this month will not be completed and it will probably resume on the 1st of January if everything goes well. But worry not! Everything is okay and I'll still share some exclusive drawings and stuff here and there during this month, I just need some time to re-estructure my planning and work towards a better schedule. As you can also tell, the rewards for November are still not finished and that is also a reason why I don't think it's fair to charge for this month. It would also give me enough time to complete those projects without much stress.

And on that note, if you pledged for the November term you will, naturally, receive the rewards you are entitled to. However, AND THIS IS CRUCIAL, if you become a new Patron during this month you will be charged for the term and will have access to all my previous Patreon-only posts. I'll be making this entry public so that newcomers can read it before pledging or something (which I highly doubt it will happen but anyway, haha).

As I said, one of the reasons I  paused the pledge is to catch up with the pending works and improve the quality of the rewards (and the management of the platform overall). I cannot tell how exactly but I guess that is the whole point. On the other hand, I also need to take care of some personal situations. I've been in Germany with my fiancé for around two months now and not only have we really enjoyed our time together, but we've also been planning our short and long term future. To give you a "tiny" example of what I mean: we're getting married! And really, reaaaaally soon. So you can perhaps imagine all that it entails, both personal and bureaucracy-wise. :'D

Besides that, I have also been learning German for a while —successfully mixing up three languages when I talk now, haha— and on the 3rd of December I have a very important test to check my level (A1). That is one of the requirements I need to check in order to stay with my boio, so studying and practicing a few hours per day has also become a priority the last couple of weeks. Aber kein Stress! 

I really hope that after we have sorted these things out I will have more time to focus on Patreon and art overall. There are many things I wanna draw and share, and exciting things I wanna make for Patreon if I have the chance. Speaking of which... Do you have any suggestions? Is there something you'd rather see me do here on the platform? Or perhaps to stop doing? I would really love to read your opinions on the matter, so please write what you think in the comments below.
