Toby Spidersona 🕸🕷+ Sketches!!

Hello there! I hope you are all good and safe~

Phew, this one took me a while, but I'm proud of how it turned out~ *Pat pat* As promised, the winner of the character poll of this month: Toby, in his Spidersona AU!

So yeah, it was a challenging piece to work in. Especially because there is a background... Yeah, a background! Not a flat coloured circle or rectangle, but a background... Oof. I think I did good, and I like how it looks.

As you can see, there are two variations of the drawing. The thing is that, originally, Toby's default outfit included a jacket, so I wanted to add something that resembled that. Though his jacket is usually dark-ish gray I gave him a yellow one because I thought it would contrast way better with the existing colour scheme. ^^ You can also have a look at some sketches I drew on the side. Some of them are smol "character exploration" and poses and whatnot. Those were fun to draw and I for sure picked some ideas you suggested~ Sadly I couldn't draw them all, it would have taken longer to finish aaahhh...

The other picture shows a bit of the planning I went through to decide on a design for his attire~ It is mostly details and overall look, not much of colour choices despite it could've saved me a bit of time haha. But hey, it worked out in the end~

But anyway. I really enjoyed working on this drawing and I thank you all for suggesting and voting for him. I also appreciate the patience, as I wanted to share this earlier but it wasn't quite ready yet, hehehe. I still hope you like it and I would love to read what you think, so please feel free to drop a comment, should you feel like it.
