Mermay 2021 Sketch

Hello! this May will be a very busy month in terms of art production. I have some commissions going on and also Patreon projects. And speaking of projects —and, well May— here I'm presenting you all with one of the pojects I'll be slowly working on! :D

As you can see, it is showing the besto boyos, Toby and Zach. The idea behind it is Toby being a merman that comes out of the sea to listen to Zach's fishing stories and other interesting stuff about the human world.

It's been a while since I last did something for mermay and if I'm honest I don't quite like going for a drawing every single day, so I will be making this one single piece and hopefully be done with it by the end of the month.

Today I wanted to share the sketch so far and I'm really liking how is turning out! I'll try to work on it throughout the mermay "celebration" and post different stages of the process.

So yeah. Mermay artwork is on its way. I'm really excited to work on this one and try to make it look nice. Please let me know what you think about it! :D
