Patreon "Monthly" Journal - July 2021

Hello there. Another month has come to an end and it is time now sumarize what needs to be told. I feel that I could really wrap up the couple of months I didn't share a journal entry but that would take a lot of reading and time and it would be mostly me talking about personal stuff. But they are lovely and nice stuff. :D

It's been now 4 months since I started with Patreon and the experience has been both rewarding and challenging. It honestly feels like it's been even more time than that... it's just weird. But I have got to say that in the time I've been managing and sharing my art here I've made some of my favourite pieces and that's something I'm really proud of and makes me excited for what's to come... in the right moment, of course.

The other side of the coin would be me learning how to manage my art as a business, so to speak —along with social media aaaahhhh. Going back the memory line several years ago I would have never thought of making art something profitable. It was not until I started college that I understood it was, in fact, possible and wanted to give it chance. Now that I'm in the praxis I would say that it is a matter of perseverance. There are highs and lows and the frustration is inevitable. But just as everything that requires effort and patience, it is worth it.

And on that note... I have mentioned in the past that I'm in a constant pursue of making things right and to improve my craft, so if there is something you want me to improve and do better please feel free to let me know. You are my audience so I owe you (and thank you) a lot. It is because of you that I've been able to see that this is possible and pushes me to keep moving forward. I appreciate the support, I really, really do. And I'm also so grateful for having people around me who help me and believe in what I do. Thank you so much for that! :D

So yeah! That's what I have to say for this entry. I hope everything goes well during August and that I can keep creating the content I like and you find enjoyable. Stay safe and remember to be creative and drink water.

I'll see you the next time.
