Hi! :D

If you have played Elden Ring, I do not need to introduce you to this character. I am pretty sure her name is engraved in your memory. If you don't know her, she is Malenia, Blade of Miquella. She's nothing but one of the most challenging bosses in the souls-borne genre... at least, that's what gamers have agreed upon. Though, in all fairness, the lady is pretty tough.

Completing this artwork took me a while, as with the actual boss. It is, perhaps, not the most detailed illustration I have ever done, but it was exhausting. Initially, I wanted to draw her and finish the artwork quickly, but some other projects took priority, and I had to postpone working on this one. The problem is that the longer I work on something, the more likely I will get impatient, rush the process and hate the final result. That's why I resumed working on it the last few days and tried a more "simplistic" approach. This is me teaching myself that sometimes it is better to have something finished than something "perfect". 👀

But anyway. I do like how it looks, regardless of its simplicity. It looks like a mural or a picture in an illustrated book. It almost gives me an art nouveau vibe, haha. But what do you think?
