I apologize for being quite absent this month and barely posting here for you all... It's been a packed month with commissions, side projects, personal life and other matters. At some point, I started to feel a bit of burnout and I might have allowed myself a day or two to simply exist. These last couple of days, however, I had to catch up with some pending work and I still have artworks to finish for the December term. We'll see how that goes...
Anyway. I wanted to share this illustration I just finished as part of a project I can't say much about! Not because it is top secret or something, but rather because it's still a work in process from what I can tell. If anything, I will let you all know more about that shortly. :D
In the meantime, let's all wish this year close on a positive note and that 2023 brings us more hope. And speaking of which... Do you have any New Year's resolutions? Is there something, in particular, you hope for? I would love to know in the comments below, so feel free to share them if you so desire! :D
Now I shall go back to work. As I mentioned, I still need to finish another Patreon reward for the Composer tier. But as for 2022 goes, I do believe this could be the last artwork I share here —unless I manage to somehow finish the other artwork tomorrow and upload it before all the New Year's celebrations, haha. Thank you all so much for your support throughout this year. It means a lot and I sincerely appreciate it. 💖

I used to play the violin and write my music, but for a couple of years I haven't touched the strings or come up with new melodies and I've missed that a lot lately. I also hope I can go back to music and reignite that particular joy that only music can bring us. Best wishes to you! I thank you dearly for your support~ ✨

We all need a bit of hope and for me your art always provides a dose of it, along with other positive things. For me in 2023 my resolution will be to lose some weight (been carrying some lockdown padding around with me for a little while and it's time for it to go) but also to do more creative things - music, writing and art, particularly music. It's slowed down for me in the last few years and I would definitely like to see 2023 be much more musical! As for feeling burned out and being busy, I hope I speak for everyone here when I say don't worry about taking a couple of days to exist and make sure you look after yourself. You look after us well here (one of the reasons why I missed being a patron for the few months I was away). I hope you can take some time to enjoy the New Year and have a rest if you still need one, and that the year ahead is bright for you!
