「Kikuoは極悪人だ！」言いがかりツイートが1日で1000RT･･･　英語圏・恐怖の"Cancel Culture"対処録 / "Kikuo draws and supports cp!" misunderstanding tweet 1000+ RT.

新曲発表時にコメント欄が少し荒れる可能性があったり、心配してくださっている方もいるので、その周知の意味も含めての公式記録になります。

ざっくり説明すると、

英語圏で誤解による言いがかりをつけられ、1日で1000RTされていたが、声明文を出した結果、元ツイート・元アカウントも消えて落ち着きました。まだ少しくすぶってるけど気にしないでね。

最近そういうのが"Cancel Culture"と言って流行ってるみたい。こわいわー･･･。

ってことです。

ほぼ解決済の事案であり、精神的にも大丈夫です。

●大まかな流れ

１：8/30 pixivで発表している『僕はお姉さんがほしい』という18禁漫画に対し、「Kikuoは児童ポルノ・児童虐待を推奨する極悪人だ！！お前らきくおをサポートするな！！（意訳）」とツイートされる。1日で1000RT、フォロワーの多いアカウントやリスナーにも広がりはじめていた。

２：8/31 「児童ポルノ・児童虐待を真っ向から否定するテーマの漫画」と声明を発表。約1時間後に「大量の反対意見がきた。どうしていいかわからない」のツイートを最後に、元ツイート・元アカウントが非公開になる。

３：9/1 元アカウントが削除。

●なぜ爆発的に発火したのか

１："Cancel Culture" という、作家などの過去を探って糾弾し、追い込む活動が英語圏で流行っている。その上で、ボカロPであるきくおを、ミクの誕生日という絶好のタイミングで糾弾したから。

２：ポルノ表現より、むしろ虐待表現に関して日本よりはるかにセンシティブである上、この漫画には英語訳がなく、「児童虐待推奨漫画だ」の先入観をもって絵だけを読まれた結果、多くの人が煽動されたから。

３：想像以上に英語圏での知名度が上がっているのかも。きくおチャンネルや新曲のほとんどは、アメリカ人リスナーが30%以上で圧倒的1位。（日本人は10%ぐらい、その他60%は各国）

●どのように鎮まっていったか

１：意外にもきちんと話の通じる人が多かった。声明直後から、キャンセル文化全体に対するヘイトも含め、多くの人が誤解について説明をしてくれるようになった。温かいメッセージ、礼儀正しい丁寧な質問も多く、精神的にも助けになった。

２：静観せず、早めに声明を出したのが効果的だった。なにせ漫画の英語訳がないので、はじめは多くの人が混乱していた。

●わかったこと

１：「彼はGoogle翻訳を使っている。英語を話せない人に無理をさせるな」と言われるレベルの雑な英語力でも、なんとか理解してもらえること。というか添削もきた。やさしい。

２：誤解と言いがかりによってプチ炎上するのは、実は3回目。ごく一部の、話の通じないヤバめの人は、複数アカウントを使って炎上が続いてるように見せかけることが多いし、時間が経つと名前を変えて別の炎上ネタに移動している。なのでくすぶってても気にしないでね。もうほとんどの人はわかってくれてる印象。

●感想

それぞれの国に、それぞれの問題があるんだなあーということですね。

相談に乗ってくれた方々、温かいメッセージをくれた方々にも感謝しかない。何事も誠実にやることですね･･･。

次の新曲、歌詞もメロディもほぼすべてできてるので、あとは大体手を動かすのみです。そういうことだけやって生きていたいですね。

Someone explained to him that cancel culture is an english phenomenon where people dig up old works and "cancel" the creator with it.

Kikuo then outlined what happened so far:

8/30:

the "kikuo draws and supports cp!" tweet spread to 1000+ people, including followers and listeners

8/31:

Kikuo put out a statement explaining that the comic "directly denies cp and abuse." An hour later he mentioned that there was a lot of backlash and he didn't get why. (翻訳間違ったら添削してくれて、誰か). The poster deleted their tweet and privated their account.

9/1:

the account got deleted.

He then said that canceling seems popular in english areas, and noticed how his past works were criticized in synch with miku's bday.

Next, he said this was a combination of there being no engl. translations, these themes being more sensitive topics than

in engl. areas than in Japan, many people assumed based on pictures alone that the comic advocated for cp.

He then notes how he's more popular in foreign countries than he thought, stating that his recent vids' viewers are 30% in america, 10 in JP and 60 elsewhere.

Surprisingly, there were many who understood the situation and tried to clear up the misunderstandings. He received lots of warm, polite messages, which really helped him mentally during all this.

He wanted to make a statement early so it'd be more effective, but since the manga was never translated many were confused at first.

He then mentions how this is around the third time this happened, where people misunderstood and rumors spread like a wildfire.

But it seems like it's settling down now since he's explained.

He understands that each country has different problems and is greatful to those who reached out to him with supportive messages.

Kikuo then ends this with

"My new song's melody and lyrics are almost done, so I just need to get to work. That's all I want to do."
