L&R: For Huber! I went to Vegas last week, and per Huber's recommendation I tried out Craps on an actual table and had so much fun playing it, even coming out a bit ahead using the Three Point Molly strat (bet on Pass/Come to hit 3 numbers, with odds on 6 and 8). What should I be doing next time to either have more fun or finally get that edge on the House?

2024-04-10 20:11:31 +0000 UTCLove and respect Allies, do you remember when Bravia televisions had PS Now built in? It started around 2013 and ended, as far as the internet tells me, in August 2017. Why should Xbox Cloud Gaming and Samsung TV's Gaming Hub be any different? If we compare the time of Bravia TVs and PS3 games to today, a lot has changed, but were the games and/or the service the problem or is the real challenge getting people to actually use it. Is that still true today? What do you think? Is the massive library of Xbox Cloud Gaming the attraction that solves all the problems of 2013 or what could drive the number of users to use gaming via their smart TVs? L&R Snaqe

2024-04-10 14:45:13 +0000 UTCThe final chapter of Nier Reincarnation is out and the game being wiped from existence at the end of the month. There’s nothing more Nier than that. Game preservation is “important” and it’d be cool if more people experienced it, but there’s a beauty in the finite, in moments come and gone. Memento mori. I was going to ask about preservation and how humanity has lost more art than it has kept throughout civilization, but let’s go broad. How are you folks feeling about mortality?

2024-04-09 20:39:23 +0000 UTCWell, it lasted for a little bit. Arrowhead have reintroduced Automatons into the game, with a Tweet saying that the previous force was "just a vanguard". Slightly disappointing, but hey, the galaxy was bot free for a good 24 hours solid!

2024-04-09 14:58:27 +0000 UTCHey Allies, As you might have heard, over the weekend Helldivers 2 players successfully completed Operation Swift Disassembly: The Automatons have been completely wiped off the face of the galaxy. This is not lip service or some kind of fake accomplishment. Helldivers 2 players can not fight Automatons in the game at the time of writing this comment, with no way to allow them to regroup. The Helldivers 2 team have acknowledged this accomplishment, posting a short clip on Twitter of a Victory Parade taking place on Super Earth to celebrate. While I'm sure we'll know more about what possible new terror will come to Helldivers 2 very soon, I really appreciate the influence that Helldivers 2 is allowing the community to have on its gameplay experience. The galactic war is not set dressing. It is a real functional part of the game. For my question, if you could wipe any enemy from a game or series, what would it be, and why? Perhaps you don't like fighting them, maybe you think they're particularly monstrous, etc. Feel free to be as specific as you want, e.g, you might want to keep the Locust from Gears but remove a specific variant. 2024-04-09 10:52:31 +0000 UTCHello allies. What game will you full heartedly recommend to others but will never play yourself? For me it’s Final Fantasy XIV. I’ve tried playing The Elder Scrolls Online and my immersion was constantly broken by running and jumping players which led me to a conclusion that MMOs are just not for me. But Damiani has convinced me that Final Fantasy XIV is absolutely incredible, and I have no hesitations about recommending it to others without first-hand experience.

This week, I've begun for the first time, my playthrough of Final Fantasy V, and because of this, the only mainline Final Fantasies I now have not played are III, XI, and XIV. With having put in time in many different entries from the same series, I'm curious to know: What is the game franchise with the most entries, you've played the most of? 2024-04-08 23:31:57 +0000 UTCHello Allies, Persona 3 Reload has been such a joy for me to play, as I never played past the opening in the original on PS2. The one thing that think would have been a nice touch though would have been the inclusion of the female protagonist from P3P. So to my surpise, the modding community decide they wanted her in the game, and now they have a alot of work done on it. I feel like mod can sometime add some fun to video games, like replacing charcters like the first dragon in Skyrim with Randy Savage or Mr. X with Thomas the Tank Engine. However, mod that add removed content are what I think we need more of. My question is this, have any of you seen the progress on the female protagonist for P3R and what are some of your favorite mods? Love and Respect

Robots, Barbie’s, dinosaurs, trucks, neopets, Little People (TM), Superhero’s, The Grudge. You know? I was obsessed with everything Batman. Halloween dress up, movies, games, comics, cups. Look at me now! What was your “thing” as a kid? Has it carried into your adult life?
