Love and Respect for Jan 24th Podcast
Added 2025-01-20 21:00:08 +0000 UTCIt's time to get your questions in for this week's podcast. This will be Huber's first week as the main host of the podcast, and I'm not quite sure whether I'll still be choosing the questions or if he'll want to pick them himself. Anything can happen! As for games, maybe we'll get some FF VII Rebirth PC talk in there, and maybe some DKC Returns HD, but we'll definitely have our thoughts on the Xbox Developer Direct happening that morning.
Type your question, topic, or game in the comments below. If your entry is not selected, feel free to submit it again the following week. We appreciate your support and are grateful for each and every submission, if we're able to include them in the podcast or not.
Please submit your entries by Wednesday at 5:00 PM. Be sure to include your preferred name if it's different from what's listed on your Patreon profile.

¡Hola Allies! New Patron here! The new re-release of Donkey Kong Country Returns has made me wonder if this is the second or even third time fans of this franchise are buying this game. Is there a franchise you'll support no matter what, or a game you love so much that you'll buy it no matter how many times it re-releases? In my case, I've bought Metroid Prime a total of five times! Twice for the GameCube (after my first copy got bitten by my then baby sister), twice as part of the Prime Trilogy (physical for Wii and then digital for Wii U), and finally as the Switch Remaster. I hope we get to see Prime 2 and 3 again in some form before Prime 4 comes out this year. Love and respect!

2025-01-23 19:49:09 +0000 UTCLove and Respect, Allies! How are you preparing for GTA VI? I’ve completed all the other 3D GTA’s but for some reason skipped San Andreas back in the day. I decided to boot it up on a whim last week, used the OG Xbox disc in the Xbox Series X which downloads the 360 version. That one has a bad reputation, but the backwards compatibility saves it, as it’s running smooth 30 FPS, with fast loading times, no crashes. And I like the old school look compared to the plastic Definitive Editions. Turns out the game’s amazing! After 30 hours I’ve done the story and a lot of side content. The map is maybe the best in the series, not too big, but varied. Story’s a little out there but fun and fits the series’ tongue in cheeck attitude well. And the music, it’s so good. What’s your preferred way to play GTA San Andreas? PS2? PC with mods?
