Hello allies. Today a sizeable chink of gaming community is playing live-service games like Minecraft and Fortnite. Since these players already have their game and a device to play it on, they don’t have any reasons to buy PS6 or the next Xbox when those will be released. Considering this and the fact that hardware components don’t get cheaper as they used to, do you think that the next generation of consoles from Sony and Microsoft will have to target gaming enthusiasts who are willing to pay a lot for their favorite time spending?

2024-05-23 06:51:12 +0000 UTCHello Allies! I was curious if there is a time frame you guys prefer to consume your video content. For example your podcast length like 2 hrs to 2:30 is perfect for me. For Minnmax videos like new show plus is like an hr and that's perfect. Gameranx 10 - 15 mins are perfect to just eat and watch something short. What is your preferred time frame / length for videos?

2024-05-22 19:50:57 +0000 UTCHi Allies, Hellblade 2 was first announced in December of 2019, alongside the Xbox Series X itself. It’s been almost 4.5 years now. Other examples of ultra long windows include Bayonetta 3 at 5 years and Breath of the Wild at 4. Even FF7 remake took 5 years. Do you think these ultra long windows between game announcement and release help or hurt games in the long run, if at all? Love and Respect, Rahul

2024-05-21 15:55:09 +0000 UTCHey Allies! Assassin’s Creed has been the center of controversy for the past week. Because of all the AC talk, I bought Mirage, finished Valhalla, and now I’m finishing up Origins. (Good Job internet giving Ubisoft all that free marketing). In the Allies opinions, how would you rank the AC games from worst to best? (You do not have to include DLC or the 2D side scrollers if you do not want to).

2024-05-21 13:08:50 +0000 UTCHey Allies. Recently I decided to go back and play D2 on the Dreamcast. It has been a game I've fondly looked back on over the years and decided to experience it again. Unfortunately, the game was not as cool and fun as I remember and ultimately walked away disappointed with it. My question is, have you ever played a game and thought it was Swimming in 7s but after playing a second time, found it was Flopping in 4s?

2024-05-21 10:43:29 +0000 UTCHi Allies. I though it would be fun to play Red Dead Redemption 2 one mission at a time. Each play session I just play one mission and then move on to the main game I am going through. Did you ever go through a game in such a piece meal way and how did it change your perspective of it?

2024-05-20 23:44:41 +0000 UTCHey Allies, Over the weekend, we saw the first trailer for a new CBS sitcom called Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage, a spin off of the recently ended CBS Sitcom Young Sheldon, which is itself a spin off of the popular CBS Sitcom The Big Bang Theory, which ended in 2019. It can be common for spin-offs in any medium to be considered lesser than an original work, but time and again, we see a spin-off become very popular, based on their own merits rather than the merits of the connecting IP. For the Allies, what are your favourite Spin Offs, and if you could have any spin off of anything, what would it be? Love and Respect, Harrison

2024-05-20 22:28:59 +0000 UTCHello Allies, My last question was about favorite mods in video games, and one of the mods Ilya brought up was the Doom 2 mod MyHouse.WAD, something that I wish more people would talk about. This type of media is what alot of online horror fans refer to as Unfiction, stories that aren't real, but act as if they are. “MyHouse.WAD”, “Ben Drowned” from Majora's Mask, "Lavender Town Syndrome” from Pokemon and “Every copy of Mario 64 is personalized” are just some examples of the some of these Unfiction stories based on existing video games. My question is this, has the panel seen any of these and what are some of your favorites? I will say, if you haven't played MyHouse.WAD, you should, it is a crazy ride and the story it tells is a very good one. Love & Respect

2024-05-20 22:18:16 +0000 UTCHello everyone! In your opinion, what is/are the best incentive(s) to entice you to play a New Game+? Is it additional story content, the appeal of being overpowered having gone through a game already, the promise of harder difficulty, special items/weapons/equipment only found on additional playthroughs, or something else entirely? What are some examples you believe are the gold standard in making replaying a game right after finishing it the first time seem like a no-brainer, regardless of game length? Thanks for taking this submission if you do and stay Easy fellow Allies!
