As someone watching the show and didn’t play the game (cause my fiancee wanted me to be blind after season 1 having played the 1st game), I loved this episode but was really taken out by the sex scene. Not because it happened but it felt so fast. Like yes there’s been sexual tension the whole time but for Dina to say I’m pregnant and for them to just start making out it was just very jarring to me and my fiancée. Felt so unnatural without context of the game at least for us personally. I’m curious how that plays out in the game cause I like the bite and the way that was all handled a lot and Dina has been my favorite character this season by a mile…but I felt like these emotions exploding here would’ve been better suited when Ellie was playing the guitar for instance. Idk just curious if I’m the only one cause I was surprised to hear Huber and Gabby loved it since I had a different reaction. Other than that, great episode! Issac seems horrifying in his non-chalantness to violence and switching sides. It’s a cold archetype I don’t think we’ve really seen yet with many people like Joel who are very emotional despite their hard exterior and intense actions. Also just wanted to say that I’ve loved listening to these to hear extra nuggets of game switch ups or the differences because it’s not super spoilery and I wanna get to the game but can’t until the shows over for mi amor lol so thank you for posting these as they are great listens during my dog walks!
