Hey Allie’s, With gta 6 on the way, the conversation of the cost of video games has surprised me. I’m the odd one, but I have no problem with the price of video games fluctuating based on their quality. If a company is confident in their product, why not let them set the price? We the gaming community can the decide whether they hit the mark or not and praise or punish them accordingly! This is why game reviewers like yourselves are so important. You protect and guide us. I would gladly pay $100 for gta 6. I would gladly pay $120! In some cases, it requires thousands of people collaborating for years on end to develop a video game. And then you buy it once and have it forever. Is that not worth $100? I still play Skyrim and I paid 60 bucks for it 13 years ago! If I knew then how much joy it would bring me and how long I’d be playing it, I would have been happy to pay $300 for it. I don’t think all games should cost more just because, but surely some deserve to cost more than others? Maybe there needs to be more accountability when a game comes out and it’s an obviously fleecing and it’s trash and not worth the money? Thanks for enduring the rant. Games are incredible, hard to make, we need to love and respect them. Peace

Hey Allies, With the switch 2 being just 3 weeks away I can't help but get excited to go to my first midnight release since the original switch launch in 2017. I also have 2 fond memories of midnight releases from 2013, GTA V and the Xbox One. For GTA my 2 brothers and I each got our own copy and on the way back home we end up getting pulled over. The cop saw that we had 3 copies of GTA and said how he was excited to play it as well. He told us to kill some cops and gave us a warning for speeding. A couple months later all 3 us went to get our Xboxes. After getting home and hooking them up we find out that our internet was down. This was a huge problem because all launch Xboxes needed to have a day 1 update downloaded before being able to use them. After trying to fix it by disconnecting the modem/router for 30 seconds multiple times to no avail we finally call customer service to find out that the auto pay hadn't gone through for a couple of months so our ISP shut us off. We instantly resolved this and we're finally able to download the update and stay up all night (at least I did) playing underrated gem RYSE: Son of Rome. Do any of the Allies have any memories from midnight releases they would like to share? Love and respect Sir Alfred
