This week I'm looking to chat about Carimara, Isla has a preview for the new Heroes of Might and Magic, and Huber's been poking at a few things, including Battlefield and Dying Light. So, we'll see what he's ready to chat about as we get closer to show.

Hello Allies, After hearing you all talk about my question last time, I started thinking about what you all said. While I knew Expedition 33 wasn’t going to sell like Call of Duty or GTA, I think that because I saw all the praise for it, that would translate to more sales. By the way, I'd really love to hear a Spoiler Mode from Isla and other allies about Expedition 33, it would bring me back to when my sibling and I were talking about it. Back to my question for this week, one of the issues that brought that question up was the fact that we have seen a lot of great games that review well and have great word of mouth, end up not selling enough to warrant them continuing. The Dead Space remake is a prime example of this. An amazing game that had great reviews and word of mouth, but ended up not selling enough to greenlight a remake of Dead Space 2. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth also had struggling sales that for a while made me worried that Square was going to cancel Part 3 because of that. Like you all said last time, it's unrealistic sales expectations, I just wish that some of the more casual gamers would be willing to try something different instead of just getting Call of Duty or a sports game every year. 2025-10-08 19:53:05 +0000 UTCHey there Allies, I have something of a weird thought from the Microsoft announcements last week. Thank you Microsoft. Let me explain. I was initially considering buying an ASUS ROG Ally X as a replacement to my steam deck OLED. But they made the decision for me. Why am I gonna pay them all that money and buy an extra piece of hardware for a service that I don’t even think is worth the money anymore. I think it’s amazing because otherwise this new handheld, well expensive, seems like a good idea. But now with all these changes it seems ridiculous to even consider. Can you guys think of another time where a company has shot themselves in the foot this hard? Thanks for taking my question if you do, stay easy fellow allies.
