I grew up in the city, one day we had to return home to a particular island for a life event that occurred when I was young. One evening my mother drives through this field of pineapples and stops and turns to car off. She motions up and it never dawned on me the whole time there to look up yet I was awash in a sea of stars. More then I had ever seen in my life. I felt so small, yet so special in seeing this. The only time I ever came close to that feeling was visiting NYC and again not thinking to look up and see Empire state pierce clouds and trail on for what looked like eternity. I wanna see those star again, I want to feel small and special again
