2024 is over. What's next?

Above you see my actual premiere project where I worked on the animations you saw through the year. (look at all those Alexa projects, favorite who?), these area all in our archives now by the way.

2024 has been rough but I won't bore you with personal details. For those of you who follow MHPW since August or later. Thank you so much for joining in, you may not be aware, but MHPW content used to be part of another patreon, basically we got separated because of the nature of our content being too different from the rest. It was a risk but in the end, seeing the amount of content delivered, I feel a bit satisfied. Not only because of the amount of content itself, but because I actually managed to actually finish them.

I've followed other 3d smut content creators over the years, that I admire and even worked with, some of them post less than an animation a month (let alone for a 1$ subscription). Comparison is the thief of joy but I just bring that up because wanna let you all know, that being able to deliver content I promised really important to me. IF I am not able to deliver, it's because something outside my power happened to prevent me from just sit here and do what I enjoy doing. Which is what happened this past October.

I try to deliver at least one animation a month at the very least, (not mentioning the model releases and updates by the way)

But yeah, I wish I could deliver more. But at the same time I believe my work improved a bit, so I guess it's a balance between quality and quantity? you'll be the judge of that.

That aside, with the past behind us, what do we want from MHPW next year?

I made my own list of goals but I welcome any feedback

1. More presence with the members of the board!

I have failed you guys, in a sense, and you done so much. You voted and made a lot of things possible this year with just your support. Yet I was only able to deliver 3 major animations to you since August (All with just Alexa too lol). So that's something I wanna improve, I made it clear I won't be able to deliver longer animations monthly without sacrificing something big in my schedule, so I can aim to get a bit more variety, I will study the situation once I'm back.

2. character variation. The problem was mentioned above, our top girl is all over the place lol. Even though I think by now we delivered all there is to it except one project. There's always the urge to do something new with Alexa every month tho, so we will have to battle those backstage politics more often so the other girls get their time to shine like they deserve.

3. Voice acting. Now this is the elephant in the room. Something I often avoid bringing up because of well, mainly just respect for the people I've worked with in the past. I always had good relationships with voice actors, I enjoy working with everyone I worked with and everyone I've commissioned to do VO work have been nothing but pros. But as any profession, voice actors have the right to refuse to do jobs they don't feel like doing. The reason why doesn't even matter is just their right. And that's the thing, so often they have to refuse jobs that the most professional thing to do is to share spread sheet about the do and do not asks, like any artists who takes commissions do, nothing strange there. Well... That's where MHPW content specifically is not very favored by a majority of VO, I understand and respect this of course, but this leaves me in the disadvantage of... who do I chose to work with? I have to look really extra hard to find voice actors willing to voice my content, (some of the ones that did just retired last year too so that's just our luck!) So I will have to work extra hard to find voice actors just being willing to work with us. Which leads us to our next issue/goal

4. Creative limitations. As you can imagine, not beng able to just hire a VO to give them a script or an idea and work around that leaves me with just the choice of, animathing something... and then hoping to find the right audio to fit it, or, chose some stock audio (free or bought) and use it multiple times on different projects. As you can imagine this is very limiting, as the audio will get old pretty fast, you may already be too familiar with some reused stock voice over sounds, and of course, I am limited to having no actual dialog unless I use an actual VA.

I recently tested an animation with actual AI VO lines, for the sake of learning and dealing with it, and honestly it just didn't do it for me. The results were average and the amount of trial and error for just average (even for paid versions) results. It's just not worth it, I much rather work with actual VAs and guide them or just let them be creative in ways I can't. We will find the ones willing to work with us, but that may delay projects a bit more often as well as we wait for them to deliver.

5. Balanced growth, finally for obvious reasons, we at MHPW don't search to become the biggest ever, but just be the best we can be. The term "I book for the psychos" resonates with this account lol. Unwanted attention, resentment, we don't need that, you don't either. We are fine, if you hate us, let me know, if you feel wronged, dm me, I have an open refund policy, just don't try to steal from us, we already give almost everything for free anyway.

By the way, there were 9 projects I wasn't able to finish this year.

SO, after a break (Yes I always take a break on the first two weeks of january) When we get back to action, these are the projects we can look forward to finish, hopefully, soon.

There is no renders yet for some of the projects in the screenshot above but you get the idea. We can even get a couple animations coming out of nowhere here and there, but we will focus on the ones that are almost finished first!

The model roadmap is still the same

Tiffany Stratton won the model poll, that is the next model to make.

Kairi Sane model is a preference of mine I wanted to do so I will be working on it on the side.

I haven't started either of them yet except for loading Kairi model into a file.

As for Seth's model. I've chose to go for a pack, there's no point hidding it, I just wanna have the shield in a scene lol So I may port and Ambrose model too after I'm done with Seth's.

Anyway. After January 1rst I'll be gone for a couple of weeks, I always take a short vacation during January, to avoid burn out and to just get out a bit. Content will still be here but since I'll be back in the middle of the month and I will post updates as soon as I come back.
