He might be a pig with questionable morals but heโs probably the most street smart character in the series because heโs naturally very crafty if you seen OG Dragon Ball particularly season 1.

2024-06-21 03:12:04 +0000 UTCThis is what they call Mastered Super Saiyan of just MSSJ. Think it like putting weights on your own energy supply which in turn gives you more stamina and power. If they learn to relax in Super Saiyan it doesnโt put as much stress on them and I theorize it probably helps boost their base form considerably since theyโre not transforming further past SSJ grade 1. Vegeta learned ti transform into Super Saiyan grade 2 but the major flaw is the the power increase isnโt worth stamina drain since all your doing is putting more unnecessary strain on yourself without the benefit of a significant enough boost. Trunksโ Super Saiyan grade 3 is even worse because now in addition to more stamina drain youโre also slower too because of the mass increase, but you have to hand it to Goku. Heโs a fighting genius to figure out the transformationโs weaknesses and innovate a work around like that.

2024-06-21 01:53:13 +0000 UTCYou're 100% right about the grade 3 power. It doesn't make sense. SSJ2 is way way more powerful WITH speed also. One hit from SSJ2 sends Cell flying like a pinball game. Trunks couldn't do that with his raw "SSJ2" like power!

He knows they need all the help they can get, despite already knowing what his ace in the hole is. Some people argue that Grade 3 Trunks is stronger than 50% Goku, which I disagree with. These are likely the same people that think Grade 3 = SSJ2, but with speed loss, which I also disagree with. If Grade 3 was SSJ2 level, then wouldn't Trunks' hits that connected with ๐ ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ก๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ Cell have actually done damage? The punches that Cell did allow Trunks to hit him with didn't look any slower than usual either. Consider an actual SSJ2 who was likely still holding back almost made a Fully Powered up Cell almost pass out in two hits. I honestly think Cell used more power against a warming up dumbass than he did the roided out, angsty teen. On a side-note, I love that Gohan is dressed like Bruce Lee from Enter the Dragon ๐
