Iโve been thinking about ways to improve the quality of my videos, especially since some of you mentioned my microphone might not be the best. Audio editing isnโt my strongest skill, so Iโm considering using AI to clone my voice or enhance the production process.
What do you think? Would you be open to this, or do you prefer the natural imperfections of my current recordings? If you have suggestions for good AI tools, Iโd love to hear them!

2024-12-12 16:43:37 +0000 UTCDefinitely prefer you real imperfect voice recording to any sort of AI. Exception might be additional audio tracks or phrases added to the audio experience, multiple tracks can definitely make audios more impactful especially JOIs

There are some good usb mic's out there and there are some XLR options but you would need a computer interface or a portable recorder to use the XLR options. There are also field recorders that could work well also.

Right now, though, Iโm being mindful of costs because I want to avoid raising prices. My priority is to give you as much value as possible while keeping it affordable.

That could improve your workflow and leave you free to be creative. Then you could charge a few dollars more for the tiers or sales to recoup the expense?

2024-12-02 10:37:20 +0000 UTCWell, I must preface this by saying that I love voices and real voices. Unless the voice is heavily accented and hard to listen to, I really prefer human voices. Your voice is really nice to listen to and I haven't thought that your mic is bad. I think if you go down the route of Ai at this time it would be following the crowd. I know that it may be difficult to do audio edits, but the easy answer to that is to find a sub who might love to do it for you? Microphones, Iv'e had a few, but then again, far too many :) Microphones are a bit of a personal choice and can sometimes favour different voices so it is best to try a few to get one that you like. I would say it also depends on what you are going to use it for. I have a pencil mic that I have boomed slightly above my head and it is great, but it depends on your environment etc.
