2024-01-22 18:45:44 +0000 UTCSeason 3 is a lot like Season 4 of The Boondocks: it doesn't have the "soul" of the previous seasons. Plus, Chappelle left the show in the middle of filming Season 3, so it's kind of put together in a not-so-organic way.

2024-01-22 09:22:23 +0000 UTCSo, long story, shortened lol...Trent Lott is a former Senate leader who came out and supported a former presidential candidate(1948) named Strom Thurman at his 100th birthday celebration. Thurman was a diehard confederate who opposed Civil Rights and wanted to maintain segregation. Lott's support of this man and his beliefs came to light in 2002. Both men claim not to be racist 🤷 that being said, that's why Trent Lott "sponsored" the Clayton Bigsby documentary lol. Also, season 3 isnt too bad, it's like Boondocks season 4 in the way that Chappelle had very little to do with it, if anything. They (Comedy Central) just aired a lot of his previously unused sketches. They were still pretty funny, but you could tell that he was no longer a current part of it and that it was basically on autopilot.
