Wanda is just the Texas (where Jamie is from) version. Lol! They modeled those characters after girls they knew in their neighborhood. Martin's own sister and her friends was a heavy influence on the shenaneh character. That's why it was so funny to us because we all could point to someone we knew like that. Lol! Idk of it was just a gen x thing or what but all the characters are influenced by where Martin grew up. I'm also from MD not to far from where he grew up and this always felt like a very exaggerated version of home. Lol
