However... after a few times hanging out with her, he realizes that he actually does like her.

I donāt think kelly had a big ego at the end. I think she was hurt by how chris was embarrassed by her and didnāt even stick up for her when everyone kept making fun of her. So she treated chris with the same disrespect chris gave to her. I wouldāve been the same way.

He felt like he was above dating Kelly in public even though he didnāt get girls to begin with then when he got caught and the guys were making fun of her, he didnāt defend her. Chris has been bullied for years, so you would think he would be used to it and just continue dating the one girl who actually likes him. With all the times Kelly got made fun of, itās understandable that she would want to rub it in everyoneās face when she got a makeover.
