Sad Day...

Today is a VERY SAD day in our house.
Our Wonderful little Fur Baby "Kylie"
Who has been with Ashley and I since the beginning, got very sick a couple days ago.
We took her to the vet on Friday and what they said/gave us didn't help her at all...
She needed an ultrasound and emergency surgery due to an infection.
When I got back from Church today,
she was barking and came to the steps to greet me like she normally does, but only a couple hours later, she really took a bad turn and we could tell she was in pain and needed more help/medical assistance.
I asked my Sister to come get the boys so I could meet Ashley at the vet to say goodbye to our little girl ๐ข
Needless to say, but this hurts us both really bad.
We apologize for any delays, but will address this and more on our next into.

2025-01-20 05:59:05 +0000 UTCSorry for your loss. I know how it feels to lose pets, some people see them as replaceable but to the rest of us, they're family. We view them as no different than a human member of our family. Lost 3 of them (1 wasn't technically my pet, was my brother's, but he always came around and became my companion). Always cherish your moments with them, and to get as much history(photos, videos, statues, pawprints, other memorabilia, etc) as possible with them to make sure they're not forgotten. I got a picture of my pet engraved into my wallet, for example, so I can always remember him.

It was like a $6-8k surgery with a 50/50 chance or let her be pain free and free ๐ She brought so much joy and happiness to our family from the very start. Took him to the vet a few days later, and they discovered that his kidneys had lost 75% of their function. Any procedure would've just delayed the inevitable, and we didn't want him to suffer.
