With all the drama on and off the set they still finish the season as best they could and had a good ending to wrap up the series. You guys should definitely react to the reunion show where they all talk about the experience on the show together.

2025-03-03 16:19:31 +0000 UTCIn this last season, Martin was also going through a lot in his personal life that year. I recently watched a video about his rise to fame and how hard 1996 was for him. By the time they started filming season 5, he had over-worked himself from directing his first film "A Thin Line Between Love & Hate" and was sleep deprived. He had filed for divorce from his first wife that year, the same year Tisha Campbell marries her husband Duane. He had gotten arrested for that "mental breakdwown" he had in the middle of the street while yelling/ carrying a gun, then gotten arrested again shortly after for trying to board a plane with a gun in his suitcase. These things, along with his emotional/ mental health and stress levels being up, I'm sure probably affected his dynamic with the Martin Cast, and he probably took all of this out on Tisha. With Tisha being a newlywed by this point, it makes me think that her sexual harrassment accusation against him has truth to it, even though Martin denied it. Only the 2 of them know what really went down behind the scenes, but it's definitely not the same with Tisha being gone. This is probably why they gave Pam so many storylines that centered around her in S5. I do like that Tichina gets to really shine in this season.
