📢 We had to cancel the billing pause due to a bug on Patreon’s side. 🤡

Hi, long story short: a couple of days ago, we paused billing for a month to compensate our early alpha patrons for bugs and missing features, and to let the dev rest after a month of crunch.

However, it seems this caused some new users to be unable to subscribe at all.

If you are a new patron, please ignore this post, as the pause was only for our legacy members.

We have received five reports of this issue so far, and typically, this indicates that the number of affected people is much larger, so we cannot ignore it.

This is a critical issue because the pause should have only affected people who were already paid members! We can't stand by while those who want to sign up encounter a 'go away' error.

It appears that there are other creators with paused billing who have encountered the same problem, so we must to unpause billing to ensure that the system allows everyone in.

Browser Mode (Legacy)

If you are at that original tier, you can downgrade to a new Browser Mode tier to save $2 at renewal.

We have temporarily discounted our base tier to $2 to attract more people, but we are not changing the price; it will return to $4 monthly as soon as we gain access to the annual option (expected in early March 2025).

We can only reduce the price on Monday, and we would prefer not to touch it at all because it is only $2 for 2 cycles, and who knows what other billing bugs we might trigger, so sorry for that.

Enjoyer/Enthusiast ($8/$16)

We are not satisfied with the current implementation of our older high tiers, so we have temporarily hidden them and wanted to pause billing until we improve their perks, but here we are.

If you subscribed to access the features rather than to support us, you can temporarily downgrade to the Browser Mode tier until we improve your perks.

We expect to have the functionality available by the end of February at the latest, unless there are any major changes on the platform side that force us to change our monetization strategy.

Conclusion

We apologize for the inconvenience, but this 🤡 situation is not our fault.

If you are a legacy patron and the amount charged during the cancelled pause month is critical for you (though why did you pledge in the first place?), you can request a refund in our DMs, and we will consider it.
