2024-10-31 12:13:21 +0000 UTCIts an objectively bad movie, it has a 5 on imdb, like not even woke movie critics could give it a good rating. Its also not named Arthur Fleck 2, its Joker 2. You can just tell nobody wanted to make a sequel to this and just did it for the paycheck its so horrendously badly written. People did watch it, people did make up their minds, you just dont like what the majority of the population has to say about this mediocre snoozefest. Good Bait though buddy, too bad they wont watch it.

They want a Joker movie, which âJoker 2â decidedly is not. It also being a musical doesnât help its case. I can see why people like it as a stand alone film but as a DC fan, Id also want it as far removed from me as possible.

Joker 2 was a realistic sequel to a realistic crazy person. Arthur was too crazy to be the joker people wanted, I loved the plot twist of going the realistic route personally

2024-10-30 15:41:12 +0000 UTCI think they wonât like it purely based on the fact theyâre looking for a âJokerâ movie, not a take on the Joker and a different perspective on his character entirely. Which is what Joker 2 is, they essentially took some elements from the character and made him completely different with an original story (that clearly overall proved not to be what the fans wanted) and didnât work out whatsoever. These guys base their perceptions on characters and adaptations from the original story, sure you can have your own ideas here and there, but completely making something entirely different that doesnât resonate with fans, I feel like will also be the same with them. So I donât blame them for not wanting to react to it, I enjoy films just as much as the next guy, but if youâre looking at this as a JOKER movie and not an original film, itâs a shitty Joker movie imo, but you can argue aside from that itâs a decent film, but again without the emphasis of it being a DC/Joker adaptation and instead of it being its own thing entirely separated from the Joker entity.
