Concerning Coronavirus
Added 2020-03-09 13:50:01 +0000 UTCHi people πΏ as most of you will know, Iβm Italian and live in Italy since ever. Most specifically I live in that grey spot between the two bigger red zones. Since yesterday a huge number of human beings had to face the reality of being unable to travel -not even to the close cities - in order to contain the diffusion of the virus. The virus is a smart one: it diffuses easily, it kills little, so it can keep on living into us for long. I consider it even smarter for attacking such selfish creatures, that find it hard to think for the others good instead of their own. Italians and many others must choose to stay alone and home in order to stop this pandemic, even if theyβre apparently healthy. Some must renounce their hobbies, some are even left home from work, some others must work now more than ever, putting their lives on risk. Yesterday I saw my best friend before she went back home in one of the red zones; I used to see her every week, now I wonβt see her for at least one month. All my family lives into the red zone, and I will miss them like crazy. I used to study in a red zone city. I had shootings planned into red zones. But Iβm ok, and want to stay positive. Everybody is losing something, and we all hope to get it back the sooner ππΌ if you are in a safe zone, please donβt take for granted your freedom, honor the people that work everyday to protect you even if youβll never meet them, be kind to strangers. If you are not in a safe zone, hereβs your chance to do the exact same πΈ
