As for your other arguments I probably should have considered about how he sacrificed himself at the climax of Tower of Heaven arc thats my mistake lol.

He currently has his memories lost and even before then he was being mind controlled since he was a child by Ultear pretending to be Zeref. While angry at the pain he caused, she can't overlook his suffering and yes, the feelings she does have for him. Plus this is her first time meeting him since he literally gave up his life to save her and her friends. Her emotions aren't likely to be the most stable since she was still angry before he once again was about to kill himself for her happiness.
