Doing King Size Canary Stuff
Added 2022-12-06 16:19:42 +0000 UTCAnd another Wacky World of Tex Avery art is here! This time it also features Genghis the Lion. Of course these guys never met in an actual cartoon but I thought it's a nice headcanon to make them meet as they match perfectly in my opinion. A silly superhero and loser villain, what a classic, not to mention how much similar they look with their blue bean noses and massive chins.
The idea is based on episode 15, the one which had the most extreme inflation scene in a whole show and one of the most straight references to actual Tex Avery cartoons (which it lacks a lot since it's VERY loosely based on original Tex Avery art) The reference was made to "King Size Canary", that one old short which became famous for having super kinky inflation/growth scene in it. I uploaded some screenshots from it in case you didn't hear about it. In The Wacky World Power Pooch got his body turned into the similar giant bean bag for no actual reason, all he needed is to get more power to open the door and he could turn into more muscular hunk but they made what they made, not that I mind it at all haha. Also, I don't know why they added that line of stretched closes and buttons, I always thought it's just his yellow body, not the suit. Whatever, it just looks funny and funny detail is always a good one so I drew it as well. And as I said, it would be nice for Pooch and Genghis to share one lore together, so, even despite Genghis really lacks body transformation gags and had only one inflation scene far not that extreme, I thought it's a good idea to draw them having fun with such bodies together.
Nothing much can be done here for the alts but still I had a little fun drawing burps and some other stuff. Also, decided to play around with lettering and try more 3D things which I weren't doing for a long time already, I think it looks nice. Also did a fruity burp version besides usual nasty green burps I do mostly all the time.
