Two more Apple ][ artworks

Did two more Apple II artworks and I think it's time to stop for now. I looked through some Apple II games and noticed some really impressive full screen animations in them which inspired me with a thought that I can do some authentic sexy animations too but I really need to finish my commission now and most importantly think about Christmas themed art as well, not to mention I have a plenty of other unfinished pixel animation projects that are better to be finished first before I go to something else, I don't like to be a thousand WIPs type of artist.

Anyway, making Apple II pixel art feels very satisfying and exciting and I'm getting better at it. However, next time I'll do it simpler if I decide to make animations. It's too much to explain but due to Apple II limitations it's better and easier to not try combining purple-green and orange-blue color couples on one picture, it makes things way more difficult. Most Apple II games were mainly just orange-blue with green and purple left only for decorative immovable elements like frames, menus or counters so I should stick to that formula too.

If you scrolled through one of my recent posts where I presented my first Apple II art (the one that is currently hidden by Patreon, check my message in a community chat regarding this situation btw please) you maybe noticed me sharing a picture of the very first thing I attempted to draw during my first late night test of 816 Paint.

It had just Zed's unfinished head with some hints of my idea to represent Apple II color clashing and fringing issues in a more creative way through background elements and now I decided to give it a finished look.

It's partially inspired by the idea of Apple II graphical issues being visually illustrated as seen in a Wikipedia article about Apple II graphics with those stars.

The last artwork for now is Jack Tallhead pin-up, Apple logo design centered again, making those three of my recent works a little series. Would be good to make a similar Kit Nightly art too for a full set, maybe later. I also noticed a certain consistency forming with how I tend to draw my OC cocks. Zed has a fat phimotic cock with a big head most the time, Mark has an absurdly long thin hose-like cock with a normal foreskin and Jack has a medium length and girth hyper cock with a massive fat foreskin. Kinda nice to see a stable canon forming here. I think it shouldn't be a strict rule so I still can draw my OCs with more normal smaller cocks if I really need it but still it feels like this is something I have to keep leaning to.

I also threw in a little bonus version of my first Apple II artwork.
Not all people experienced Apple II in its full colorful glory. If you google something like "Apple II games" or "Apple II graphics", chances are you will much likely stumble upon at least few images like this.
And this is how Apple II experience looked like for many people back then who owned a phosphorus Apple Monitor II instead of connecting their computer to a color TV or Apple IIe Color Monitor, including gaming experience. Apple II is distinctively recognizable by its monochrome green graphics as much as it does with its blue-orange weird looking games and thankfully AppleWin emulator has this mode so I can convert anything I do into monochrome graphics in one click.
Originally it's a bit more boring as colorful striped Apple logo turns into just a solid vertical lines pattern because this is how Apple II reads colors so I had to make it a bit more interesting for the post.
So if you try to turn the revamped image I did with stripes being more distinct and prominent in monochrome back into color mode it will look weird like this. But whatever, sometimes Apple II graphics were just made with monochrome in mind. I know one furry who did doodles on a real monochrome Apple II with a real Apple II drawing tablet and there's no way to see it in color anyway so this is a good example. I'm not really interested in monochrome graphics though despite how popular it is among modern artists even with numerous pixel games being done in monochrome. For me, monochrome just doesn't represent each system's graphics distinctively enough which is my main goal with pixel art, to make it clear what system I'm working with. Every old 8-bit PC had monochrome mode but it all looks the same, I mean, how can you make monochrome look REALLY different? And I simply just love colors. So, consider it just a single experiment and a tribute to all those people who was unfortunate to play Apple games in black and green back then, I'll probably never return to it again.
