April 2025 Summary

Time to sum up another lackluster month again.

Sadly April wasn't as productive as I wanted it to be, no weather change could help to fix my broken sleep schedule, I still can't stop going to sleep at 4-5am and feel weak and tired every day, so as a result I made only three artworks plus pixel animation which was already half-finished before.

Pretty much every artwork of this month was an important highlight for me though. First, I finally made another commission with freaky human TF, then there were new Easter artworks which turned out pretty nice and gladly they were posted in time for Easter, except the bonus part which I didn't manage to finish at least before the end of the month, mainly because I planned to finish this old Commodore 64 pixel animation with my OCs very quickly but it took me whole 5 days.

Speaking of important events, another thing that made April 2025 remarkable is me finally creating AD account on Furaffinity which is a very significant step for me. I was talking about this a lot recently and now it finally happened. It took me hours to pick all the images I wanted to post there, write appropriate descriptions and tags for all 30 of them, then post it all on FA (the fact new accounts have to wait two times longer after making a post made it even more tedious, ugh, I didn't even know about it), write profile info, featured journal post with some backstory of my kinks and then an announcement journal for main account to inform people about this AD, it was a whole project.

Thankfully, the results can be described no other way but as positive. In less than a month I gained 136 watchers there which I think is pretty nice for a freshly made account with quite... Unusual content. A lot of nice comments were received and I didn't notice any major drop of watchers on the main account. More than that, I noticed some cross following where people were first following my AD and then my main account right after and vice versa, so it also worked as a nice advertising!

Also, besides my initial points of making this account such as promoting my Patreon content, popularizing my rare kinks and better socializing with other dirty weirdos I also found another valuable reason I didn't think about. I mean gathering statistics on what people like more or less.
It's very nice that FA has Stats feature that allows to sort all your submissions by favs or views and results were quite surprising for me. Obviously, a majority of artworks that got the most favs were images with hyping characters such as Nick Wilde, Mr Wolf, Foxy and so on but guess what image surpassed them all by a great margin and reached #1? It was an internal view scat version of Mooch the Fox artwork. No shit, it was so surprising! A pretty generic character from an absolutely obscure low budget cartoon show from the 90s which nobody but me cares about in terms of fanart and even if somebody knows it they usually hate it because Wacky World of Tex Avery has some really bad reputation and all of a sudden it surpasses Mr Wolf, Nick and Foxy? Wow, just wow. It was a very interesting observation, something I didn't expected from the fandom at all and I'm curious what could be the cause? Maybe it's the novelty of the idea itself, it's far not the most extreme alt I posted on this AD, it's not an over the top filthmonster stuff, just an internal view of Mooch's backed up guts but this is something nobody ever drawn properly and I guess many people were actually craving it. That's pretty nice. Also, maybe the word "internal" had its impact as well because I assume vore fans use it while searching stuff quite often and vore is one of the most popular kinks in fandom.
Nick Wilde with giant swollen prolapse and implied scat is #2 after Mooch, not a big surprise, but #3 between Foxy and Nick was quite surprising just as much as Mooch being #1. A pretty extreme hyper scat alt of my super old Tex Avery artwork with the fox and the hound, another characters that NOBODY cares about. Again, I think it's the exotic novelty of hyper scat being done THAT extreme with heavy usage of absurd cartoon logic and anatomy that attracted people to it, even though it's a quite sloppy edit since it's super old.
Well, it was good to find out that obscure characters still have chances to be just as popular as fandom icons if you just draw them right! Gives some hopes.

In a conclusion, AD account was a success and I'm gonna keep maintaining it. Although, I'm surely not gonna go overboard with it. Despite many commentators tried to encourage me to post more stuff there and proved to be way too eager and insatiable about my dark side art, I can't give up my bread and butter which is making exclusive content and keeping people actually motivated to subscribe instead of just waiting for the stuff to pop publicly, so I need to keep balance and I'll keep being strictly selective about what to share there and what to keep forever exclusive.

That's pretty much all I can say about April. By some miracle I still managed to stay afloat in terms of monthly income and even surpass March by 2 dollars lol, a lot of people unsubscribed me this month which is surely reasonable given my low productivity but thankfully it was balanced out by many people subscribing to me after each new post, I guess I did a good job with all the extra work on exclusive content. But sadly I'm still failing to complete my monthly art plans and just can't find energy for being more productive.

Overall, life became a bit sad lately, with only one commission a month, lowered Patreon income, USD price decline and growing prices I can barely buy anything for my vintage Volk stuff collection which was the only joy in my life besides art and video games, I don't remember the last time I bought anything big for it and, even though I bought a lot in recent months, I still can't find time and motivation to post anything from my recent purchases on my collection updates Telegram channel. I stuck in a hermitage in recent months, the only person I talk to in real life two-three times a month is my mother, my only two irl friends spent entire winter and spring living in a different city and will come back to their village only in June so I can't see them as well. Not that I suffer much but still it's a bit disheartening. Also my birthday is in 4 days already and I'm sure it's gonna be another boring worthless birthday again, I don't even have extra money to treat myself with something special for the same financial reasons mentioned above. My bf is stuck in St. Petersburg for two months already because of his job again, our plan to move me to Moscow fails for a 4th year and all the hopes that maybe we can finally make it before my b-day were shattered again, just as usual, nothing new.
So, nothing much to enjoy in my life for now but porn and video games. Sorry for bringing all that avalanche of sad stuff on you, I more just want to tell you the reason why I'm not posting much. I'm generally fine with my life, even though a regular grocery store cashier in my city earns more money than me, I'm at least happy to make a living from something I sincerely enjoy without a feeling of wasting my time and I have a lot of free time to rest unlike those poor people who suffer in stores or offices 8-10 hours a day. Life pays me not in money but in freedom and there's nothing to complain about. If I want money I need to work for it, I just get what I deserve.

Anyway, just as always I'm thankful to all of you for staying here and supporting me no matter what and hopefully things will get better because there's nothing else I enjoy in this life more than art after all.
