2025-07-10 13:20:36 +0000 UTCNicholas was 'born to death' so some theorised, as Benji caught in thr moment too, that when he says he had to go home to mother he's referring to Rio, especially as he always calls Agatha Mama, not mother. Also, Rio was able to find them because they didn't kill any witches that day, as the continuous killing of witches was a way to distract Rio from them, gaining him more time.

2024-12-31 00:32:07 +0000 UTCIt felt like a gamble. She was seriously pressed for time, she had from mid-morning to sunset of one day to gather enough power to escape the Salem Seven. Lilia had already shown that she knew a lot about Agatha, so it wasn’t a blindly bad bet that she *might* already know that weakness, and was just seeing if Agatha would show her respect and tell the truth. Agatha is also incredibly good at making people hate her to the point that they will act impulsively, it’s not out of character that she would lean into assuming she could prey on Lilia’s pride and embarrassment more easily than she could come up with a convincing lie that a talented scam artist wouldn’t read her for when she still had to locate, meet, and convince several more witches in a handful of hours. It was a hasty choice, and she bet wrong, but it doesn’t seem like a plot hole to me on balance.

Also knowing how it went with other covens, I think she just didn't expect Lilia to remember anyways. I think she just thought that Lilia would feel too insulted and would just blast her anyway.

2024-12-30 07:23:24 +0000 UTCAs someone who reads Tarot & also uses Astrology (mostly for self help, but I enjoy reading for others & have helped some people), I think this show did a lot of research & at least tried to be respectful & thoughtful. Episode 7 is a stand out episode for being very true to Tarot & not talking down to it (while also playing with people’s misconceptions via Agatha & the others). I think Tarot, Astrology, & the Craft are complicated & what you make of them. They help me see the world differently when I feel especially anxious or am spiraling & I like that it isn’t One view. It’s many views & many ideas & many ways of looking at things. It’s not a binary good/evil path, but a complex way of looking at people, situations, & events. I think this show did a good job of showcasing that.

We saw her as the maiden in the og wandavision flashback, she's been the mother through AAA up til now, and now she's the crone as a ghost. Also you got it, when Nicky said his mother calls him home, he was talking about Rio. So take what implications from that what you will. :) (there are many lol) thanks for reacting to this amazing show!

She was the cutwife of Balandry Moor in Penny Dreadful and that one completely destroyed me. Great actors and great writing, I have no criticism for AAA.

2024-12-29 20:51:34 +0000 UTCI actually loved that they didn't totally make Agatha an "anti-hero"...Agatha is "evil". She was already using her power to drain witches and I'd bet that's how she met Death to begin with. Nicholas was supposed to be stillborn, but Rio already loved Agatha, so she gave her time with Nicholas. I don't think it's because Agatha was giving her bodies, but just random time. It's why Rio told Agatha in previous episodes that no one had ever been given what Agatha had from death.

2024-12-29 18:39:14 +0000 UTCAgatha’s mom actually tried to kill her in the late 1600s so everything that happened in this episode is afterwards, which also means that Agatha had already killed one coven before her son was born. Side note, I think Julie and the Phantoms came in second on the poll so very excited if that’s next!!
