Woooooooow the two sides of the same coin of Sammy's father and remmick really didn't hit me until you brought it up. Daaaaamn.

Getting goosebumps hearing you describe the music scene. Seriously, i was like hyperventilating at that scene it was amazing. The way it built up and it was amazing, and moving, and funny at parts, and just crazy good. If anyone else had tried to do it, it would've been corny af but Ryan made it, like Rizzo said, a religious experience lol. This is the first movie I've bought in a long time, I'm so glad I got to see it in the theater.

I don’t know if this is mentioned later, or you probably know this now, but the scene in the car with Delta Slim telling the story of the lynching was almost CUT!! And then him beginning to sing afterward was improved by Delroy Lindo! Sooo talented and that scene was so impactful and important I’m really glad it wasn’t cut.

Also just to touch on the last plot hole that Rizzo brought up. I think the reason why Mary and Stack (once they were turned and were already inside the mill) didn’t attack anyone was because 1) it’s clear that they retained some form of consciousness outside of Remmick’s control (which is clear b/c Stack chooses not to hurt Sammy or Smoke in the end before their connection with Remmick was even severed), and 2) because like Benji was saying they were both vulnerable to being overpowered and killed. Cause Mary left after smoke lit her ass up and even though it didn’t kill her, it still had an effect so she needed to get out of there. Same with Stack, he left after Annie splashed the garlic water in his face which weakened him enough for them to potentially re-kill him so he needed to leave. Which leads me to say that I agree with Benji that b/c Stack wasn’t initially invited in, him leaving after being turned made it so that he still had to get an invite. Now Mary still should’ve been able to get back in but it wouldn’t have been safe cause they would’ve easily overpowered her. Plus it’s not established so you can choose to ignore it but I don’t think a vampire can give another vampire permission to be let in, so either way it wasn’t smart for her to go in there alone.
