Chapter 1: I Am… Venom!

Raccoon City bustled with life—cars weaving through the streets and pedestrians going about their day. The city exuded peace and tranquility.

Yet, hidden in a dimly lit alleyway, a dark, viscous substance writhed on the ground. The black liquid pulsed unnaturally, emitting faint growls, as if searching for something—or someone.

At the alley’s far end, a young blonde girl, drawn by curiosity, approached step-by-step. Her innocent eyes reflected fascination as she neared the strange, shifting substance.

Before she could react, the black liquid shot out tendrils, wrapping tightly around her ankle.

“Ahh!”

Terror flashed across her face as she tried to run, but the substance surged upward, consuming her feet and quickly climbing her body.

Her screams echoed through the alley as the black liquid devoured her clothes, binding tightly to her delicate figure.

“No… No… Stop it!”

The girl clawed at the creeping substance, desperately trying to tear it away. But it was futile.

“Help—!”

Her cries were cut short as the last glimmer of light vanished from her eyes, the liquid sealing over her face. The dark mass writhed and shifted until it solidified into a humanoid form—a sleek, black outfit resembling Spider-Man’s symbiote suit, though smaller to match the girl’s frame.

“Fortunately, this girl’s mental resistance is weak. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been so easy to take over her body.”

Admiring the body now under his control, the creature gazed at its reflection, eyes glinting with nostalgia.

“I’m back… HAHAHAHA!”

Dante. Age: 18. Cause of death?

Scared to death while watching a horror movie.

He thought his life had ended. But when he opened his eyes again, he found himself transformed—into a mass of black liquid.

Now, possessing the body of a young girl, he wasn’t Dante anymore.

He was Venom.

After merging perfectly with the black liquid, Dante felt memories flooding into his mind—fragments of a past that didn’t belong to him.

Drifting through the endless void, Venom began to weaken without a host, its strength slowly draining as it teetered on the edge of death.

Just when it seemed all hope was lost, a crack appeared in the rift—a tear in time and space. Venom seized the last ounce of its strength and forced its way through the opening.

At that exact moment, Dante’s soul—recently separated from his body—was wandering in the void. Fate intervened, bringing the dying symbiote and the drifting soul together.

Their merger was instantaneous. Dante became Venom, and Venom became Dante.

As if responding to the union, a voice echoed in his mind.
