Venom x Multiverse [10]

“Stop! No!” Alice’s scream pierced the air, but it was cut short as the liquid consumed her, binding itself to her entirely.
Moments later, Alice stood motionless, her body encased in sleek black armor. The symbiote clung to her like a second skin, its glossy surface reflecting the faint light of the corridor.
Her breathing was erratic as she stared at herself in disbelief, her hands running over the unfamiliar texture of the suit.
“What… what is this? What’s happening to me?”
Before she could process the situation, a zombified girl—Dante’s discarded host—let out a feral growl and charged at her, teeth bared and claws raised.
Alice barely had time to react. Driven by pure instinct, she swung her fist, landing a devastating punch squarely into the zombie’s torso.
The force sent the undead girl flying across the hallway, her body slamming into the wall with enough power to shatter the concrete. Dust and debris rained down as the lifeless corpse disappeared into the rubble.
Alice stared in shock at the gaping hole in the wall, her hand trembling as she slowly lowered it.
“This… this is my strength?” she whispered, her voice barely audible.
“That’s right,” came a voice, smooth and confident.
Alice spun around, eyes scanning the empty corridor. “Who’s there?!”
Realization struck like a lightning bolt.
“It’s… the suit,” she muttered, the truth dawning on her. The voice wasn’t coming from outside—it was coming from within.
Memories of the black liquid engulfing her flooded back. Everything made sense now—this armor wasn’t just armor. It was alive.
“Get off me!” Alice screamed, her voice filled with panic as she clawed at the suit. She grabbed at the black material, trying desperately to peel it away from her skin.
But the symbiote clung tightly. Every time she managed to tear a piece free, it liquefied and reformed, snapping back into place as if mocking her efforts.
Alice dropped to her knees, her breaths ragged as she continued to fight the unrelenting suit. Tears welled up in her eyes, but the more she struggled, the tighter the suit seemed to bind to her.
“Stop resisting,” Dante’s voice echoed again, smooth and persuasive.
“Why fear me, Alice? We are one. You need me, just as I need you.”
Dante’s voice was calm yet persuasive, the symbiotic liquid beneath Alice pooling together into his Venom form. His monstrous figure loomed over her, a devilish grin spreading across his sharp, inhuman features.
“I don’t need you! Get off me!” Alice shouted as she clawed at the black suit encasing her body, her voice trembling with frustration and defiance. The thought of some unknown entity fused to her was enough to send chills down her spine.
“Alice,” Dante continued, his tone firm but not unkind. “Don’t fight it. You need my power. Without me, you won’t survive this place.”
“I don’t want your power!” she yelled back, her hands still futilely tearing at the black material. “Get out of my body!”
Dante chuckled, his voice laced with amusement. “You will, Alice. You’ll see. You’ll want me.”
Before Alice could respond, the sound of claws scraping and heavy footsteps echoed down the hallway.
She turned her head sharply, her instincts kicking in. From the shadows emerged several Lickers, their grotesque, muscular forms glistening in the dim light as they crawled closer, their pale, eyeless faces aimed directly at her.
“Alice,” Dante said smoothly, his grin widening, “when it comes down to it, what will you choose—to live or to die?”
Alice’s breath hitched as she stared at the advancing creatures. Her mind raced, knowing full well that her own strength wouldn’t be enough to take them all down. She glanced at her hands, then at the black suit now clinging to her body. The power she’d felt earlier had been undeniable.
“Fine,” she said through gritted teeth, her voice firm. “Do it. Help me.”
Dante’s grin grew wider, a tone of satisfaction in his voice. “Good choice. From this moment on, we are one.”
The symbiotic liquid surged upward, fully enveloping Alice once more. As the suit fused to her body, her senses sharpened, her strength surged, and her speed became superhuman. She could feel the raw, overwhelming power coursing through her veins.
One of the Lickers lunged at her, its claws slicing through the air.
Alice moved instinctively, dodging with lightning speed. Her eyes widened in surprise as the creature missed entirely.
“So fast…” she murmured, amazed at her newfound agility.
“Impressive, isn’t it?” Dante’s voice echoed within her mind. “Now, let me show you how to use it.”
Alice could feel Dante’s intentions, his guidance as clear as her own thoughts. She followed his instructions, testing the limits of the suit’s capabilities.
Another Licker attacked, and Alice dodged again with ease, this time countering with a swift, devastating punch that sent the creature flying into the wall.
She smirked. “Looks like this suit has its uses after all.”
With Dante’s coaching and Alice’s own combat instincts, the fight quickly turned into a one-sided slaughter. The Lickers, once terrifying predators, became nothing more than training dummies for her to hone her skills.
In a matter of minutes, all the Lickers lay dead, their bodies broken and lifeless on the floor. Alice stood tall, her breath steady, her confidence unshaken.
The corridor was a battlefield, littered with the mangled corpses of Lickers, their grotesque forms lying still in pools of congealed blood. Standing at the center of the destruction was Alice, her expression a mixture of awe and disbelief as she looked at the carnage she had wrought.
“Time to move, Alice,” Dante’s voice broke through her thoughts. His tone was calm but carried a hint of urgency. “We’ve got less than twenty minutes before the access doors seal.”
Alice snapped out of her daze, nodding slightly as she turned and began moving toward the exit. But the moment she stepped out of the corridor, she froze.
In front of her stretched an endless horde of zombies, a sea of rotting flesh and lifeless eyes that stretched as far as she could see.
Dante chuckled, his voice laced with anticipation. “Alice, show me what you can do. Show me the strength we share.”
Alice’s hands tightened into fists before she raised them. The sleek black armor adorning her body rippled, reshaping itself. Within moments, the liquid symbiote had transformed into dual military blades, their edges gleaming with deadly intent.
Without hesitation, she charged into the zombie horde.
Alice moved like a shadow, her speed and agility enhanced far beyond human limits. Each swing of her blades was precise and brutal, cutting down zombies with surgical efficiency. Their decayed forms crumpled under her relentless assault, limbs and heads severed in a flurry of movement.
When the swarm pressed in too tightly, Alice simply slammed her fist into the ground. The force of the impact sent shockwaves rippling through the floor, launching the undead into the air like ragdolls.
“This is incredible,” Alice murmured, her breaths steady despite the relentless onslaught. The symbiotic suit wasn’t just keeping her energized—it seemed to amplify her strength the longer she fought.
Dante’s voice purred within her mind, his tone laced with pride. “Impressive, isn’t it? You’re starting to see what we’re capable of together.”
Alice didn’t respond. She was too focused, her every movement precise as she carved through the horde. Dozens of zombies fell, their bodies piling up around her, but her energy showed no signs of waning.
Dante, however, watched the scene with calculated intent. He could have infected Alice with the T-virus at any moment, allowing her to evolve further. But he didn’t.
Why?
Because rushing it wasn’t worth the risk. If she couldn’t perfectly merge with the virus, it would ruin everything. No, the plan had to unfold as the original scenario intended. She needed to return to the mansion, where Umbrella would capture her and ensure her transformation played out properly.
For now, his goal was simple: ensure her survival and let the pieces fall into place.
