"COME ON! BRING IT ON!" he bellowed.

He had thought his chance for revenge, his chance to prove his superiority, was gone forever. He never expected this monster, the one he'd fought and failed against for so many years, to suddenly reappear!

This was like a gift from God himself!

The two colossal beasts glared at each other, roaring their challenges. Then, they charged head-on, crashing into each other with incredible force. They both swung their massive fists, each landing a brutal punch squarely on the other's face.

The sound of flesh and bone colliding was a sickening, heavy THUMP.

The Abomination's head was knocked sharply to the side, and he stumbled back a few steps, momentarily dazed.

But the Hulk, despite landing a solid hit, was sent sprawling to the ground by the Abomination's savage counter-punch!

Banner had just been injected with the antidote. Even though the sheer terror of the high-altitude fall had forced the transformation, he was currently in a weakened state. He'd caught the Abomination by surprise with that first charge, but in a straight-up fight, he was no match for the stronger monster right now.

The Abomination spat contemptuously on the ground, a cruel sneer spreading across his ugly face. He grabbed a wrecked car from the side of the road and hurled it at the Hulk, who was just struggling to get back to his feet. The car slammed into the Hulk, sending him staggering again.

Following right behind the thrown car, the Abomination lowered his shoulder and charged, ramming straight into the Hulk's chest. With another deafening CRASH, the Hulk was sent flying backwards, smashing through a nearby brick wall.

"Is that all you've got?" the Abomination taunted, watching the Hulk slowly, painfully pull himself from the rubble. A mixture of self-mockery (for ever fearing this creature) and savage delight surged through him.

"Turns out you're just a pathetic weakling!" he roared. "I've fought you so many times, and this is the first time I've ever seen you this fragile! You fight like a girl!"

The Hulk, finally back on his feet, shook his massive head, trying to clear it. He bared his teeth in a furious snarl, his eyes burning with rage.

"RAAAAAARRRGH—!"

The opponent's contemptuous words fueled his anger.

The Hulk charged forward with renewed ferocity. The two giants clashed again, trading blows that shook the very ground beneath them. Chunks of concrete and debris flew everywhere.

But the weakened Hulk was clearly outmatched.

Before long, the big green guy was overpowered and slammed to the ground by the dirt-green monster. The Abomination pinned him down and began raining down punch after brutal punch onto the Hulk's face.

Lemu, still hovering nearby, covered his face with his hands in despair...

The Hulk is angry, sure, but he's not angry enough...

The Hulk gets stronger the angrier he gets. Lemu remembered that in the... original version of events... the Hulk initially couldn't beat the Abomination either. It was only when the Abomination threatened to kill his girlfriend, Betty, right in front of him, and then tried to kill General Ross and Betty together, that the Hulk's rage reached critical levels. Fueled by that immense fury, the Hulk had unleashed his full power and quickly defeated the Abomination.

Lemu looked up at the military helicopter still circling in the sky. General Ross and his daughter, Betty Ross, were both up there.

Maybe... a mischievous thought crossed Lemu's mind. Should I... grab the Hulk's girlfriend and dangle her in front of him?

He quickly shook his head. Nah, probably not a good idea... Let's not...

Yeah, that's definitely the worst idea I've ever had, Lemu thought with a shudder. Sure, Abomination would be gone, but then I'd be gone too!

He took a deep breath and shouted through The Armor's external speakers, "Hey! You! Ugly dirt-green skeleton monster! Look over here!"

A thin, bright red laser beam shot out, streaking across the air. Zzzzzzt! It hit the Abomination's bony, plate-covered hide, leaving a scorched black mark that smoked faintly.

….

That laser beam, easily powerful enough to slice through steel, zipped across the distance.

The Abomination, who was still pinning the Hulk down, let out a howl of pain. But then, he just casually reached up and wiped at the scorched mark on his skin. It looked like he'd just been flicked with a whip aside from the discolored patch and a bit of stinging pain, his tough hide didn't even seem to be broken.

The Abomination lumbered a few steps, intending to charge over and crush this annoying little machine that dared to attack him.

A red light flashed on The Armor's arm, and another laser beam shot out, this time hitting the Abomination right in the face, momentarily blinding him and forcing him to stop his charge.

The Abomination squinted, shielding his eyes with one massive hand. With his other hand, he scooped up a huge chunk of broken concrete from the ground and hurled it at The Armor.

The rock, easily half the size of a basketball, flew through the air like a cannonball, creating visible ripples in the air around it. It whistled as it sped towards its target. The Armor managed to dodge it by a hair's breadth, tilting sharply to the side just in the nick of time.

The Armor was clearly struggling against an enemy of this caliber. It just didn't have the heavy firepower needed to do any real, lasting damage to something as tough as the Abomination.

The Hulk finally managed to recover. He let out a roar and leaped onto the Abomination's back, tackling him to the ground. The two giants wrestled furiously, their powerful punches and kicks landing with sickening thuds and cracks.

But very quickly, the still-weakened Hulk was overpowered. The Abomination kicked him hard, sending him flying into a nearby building with a crash.

When Lemu carefully piloted The Armor through the gaping hole the Hulk had made in the wall, he saw that the floor inside had already collapsed. A huge, dark hole led downwards. The two monsters, in their brutal fight, had smashed through three entire floors and fallen all the way down into the building's basement.
