I can't remember if it happened during the filming of Lethal Weapon 5 (this episode) or the next one, Lethal Weapon 6, but Kaitlin Olson (Dee) suffered a pretty bad leg injury on set. She and her husband, Rob McElhenney (Mac), rushed to the hospital in a panic, completely forgetting that Rob was still in full blackface makeup. The hospital staff and other patients were visibly uncomfortable, not because of Kaitlin's injury, but because of Rob's appearance. It wasn’t until the uncomfortable stares piled up that they both realized why everyone was looking at them like that.
