Do those continuity things bother you? In a drama it would, but for a show like Always Sunny I just wave it off because I appreciate the joke more. There are a few later instances of continuity being broken in a much bigger way that bother me, but something that was established so early and inconsequential that is replaced for a better joke/scene doesn't bother me. I know some people they scream their lungs out about it, lol.

2025-06-23 13:00:30 +0000 UTCthe guy with hornet scars was in "the waitress gets married" he dumped the waitress right before the wedding so charlie gave him a box of hornets. the episode where charlie says he's a full on r**** instead of philanthropist lol little continuity error, in the first season the waitress and dee introduce each other like they've never met. another episode when she's applying for the oldies rock cafe, the waitress asks dee if she even went to high school.

2025-06-23 05:13:26 +0000 UTCThe high school reunion has two of my favorite reveals ever. 1) The reveal of Mac's name. To wait 7 seasons to reveal it and for it to be this epic joke is hilarious. 2) The dance routine ending with cutting to Mac screaming with his pot belly showing. I don't think i've ever burst out laughing harder than the first time watching this episode. I didn't attend my HS reunion. This year is the 20th, but I did not go to a good school, so no interest (if there even is one, lol). BTW realizing it's been 20 years is horribly depressing, haha.
