Yeah, and it feels like it’s all moving toward something centered on eternal life. Basically resurrecting Kier Egan or all Eagans - with what Jame referred to as his “revolving” in S1. Using Severance as a way to achieve that. Also interesting that Cobel was so shocked to hear about innie Irving’s drawing about dark hallway elevator… that memory seeping through severed minds could be a big key in how Cobel (architect of it all and betrayed by Lumon) could take it all down. 🤷♂️

So I think each one of the doors is different type of trauma to a person and they are trying to get rid of that pain period. Like how last season mark reconstructed that tree Gemma hit he kinda remembered the trauma even though he never knew her or experienced it the pain seeped through a different way. I think they were trying to Gemma to experience the biggest form of trauma while not feeling any attachment to it (not being able to conceive and the fight with mark before her accident). They asked her to disassemble the crib and in doing that she felt no attachment I assume that they may have gotten to the room before but she felt some unnecessary emotions that an innie shouldn't feel about something they didn't experience.
