If you like McMaster Bujold’s Vorkosigan series (Shards of Honor and Barayar are my favorites), then please check out her fantasy novels: The Curse of Chalion and The Paladin of Souls. The latter won the Hugo and the Nebula. McMaster Bujold excels in world creation, characters and stories. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.
